The Organic Garden
I love this. I’ve finally got someone to read what I write. About nine months ago, I created my first website and called it Memories. I tried to use it to document my search to find an honest income online. Two months into it, I started marketing on online gift basket and flower site and countless affiliates. A month after that, decided that I wanted to keep any product I promoted in the organic category. From there I added a second site, moved to a “wind-powered” server, added two more domains, totally redesigned four sites, including a family tree and one geared toward my cousins photography. I SEO’d my fingernails to nubs, tagged and categorized everything but my underwear, back linked till I turned blue and the counters on my sites went from zero to ten a day.
This is a discovery for me. Most of my life I have been content to say nothing. I rarely get angry; I firmly believe that people are entitled to their opinions. At the age of twelve I had a bitter argument with my best friend and we didn’t speak for almost two weeks. It was one of the most painful episodes of my childhood, and in the end we agreed to disagree. It taught me a lesson; right or wrong isn’t worth fighting over. I don’t have a need to convince anyone of my way of thinking. And until now I didn’t know that I wanted anyone to hear me. Apparently I do.
