My Biggest Mess..An Update
So here I still sit, in an almost empty house, thirteen cats roaming around in complete abandon, and writing this article with The Blind Side playing on the TV in the background. The cats, all thirteen are coming with me. I gave the last of the kitchen stuff to my next door neighbor and I'm waiting for Kiff to arrive so I can cage the rest of the cats and get going. Texting is NOT communication
This is just ridiculous. The last few days have taught me a lot about myself. Today I have come to the conclusion, that I absolutely and categorically hate texting. I love language and words. I love the way you can string them together and come up with a coherent thought. I love writing them and as I write feeling things like anger and laughter and sadness and joy. As some of you may have read, I've been in the process of selling things on craigslist. Every time I do this I promise myself, never again. I think I've learned something each time, but evidently I haven't got it quite right yet. This morning, after placing my ads, I read through the Wanted to buy section. I've written either seven or ten articles on SearchWarp so far. As I go back to re-read what I've written, I'm ashamed. Yes, I think they are cute and quirky. Okay, the content is about what I know; admittedly not much, but it's me and people are reading them. You can tell from my writing that American English is my first language. What's For Breakfast
I believe in breakfast and try to practice what I preach. For many years I skipped the first and most important meal of the day, but as I get older, I find that I can't do without it. Immediately after washing and that all important ritual of the day, I get to the kitchen and get something to eat. It doesn't make much difference to me as long as it's got some protein in it; I find that a small portion of last night's leftovers work... (posted by Deborah 311 days 12 hours ago.)
